This sweet loving family had their photo session at The Arnold Arboretum in Boston in fall 2019. The two older sisters were so good with their baby sister and they gave me the most genuine smiles!

Natick First Birthday Cake Smash and Family Photos | Jackie

Finally sharing baby G’s one year photos! We took these over the summer in their backyard in Natick, it was the perfect spot to set up a safari birthday tent and smash a cake. Cedar Hill Retreat Center Duxbury Wedding Ceremony | Ryan and Sara

Sara and Ryan’s big wedding plans were pushed back to 2021 but they still got married on their original wedding date with their immediate family to witness. Sara got ready at her parent’s home and her mom did her makeup! We took a few photos in front of their rose covered arbor and headed to Cedar Hill Retreat Center in Duxbury, MA for their ceremony. It was a 5 minute walk to the private beach and everyone kept their eyes on the path to the woods for Sara and her dad to make their entrance.

As Sara walked across the sand to Ryan there wasn’t a dry eye on the beach! Her brother Louie married them in a personal and meaningful ceremony. They wrote their own vows and as they were promising forever their love was palpable. Their family looked on and cheered as they were pronounced husband and wife! After sharing a kiss they ran up to the path only to turn right back for their grand entrance and photos!

Their easy going families made family portraits fun! Afterwards the family went back to the retreat center and Sara and Ryan had their couples photos taken. They were naturals in front of the camera, mostly because their love is genuine and their happiness overflowing!

After portraits we walked back to the retreat center and Sara tossed her bouquet to the two single guys in the family! It was very competitive, head to the end of the blog post to see who won!

Arnold Arboretum Wedding Photos | Michael and Daniella

This day has been a long time coming for Michael and Daniella. They were originally supposed to get married last year but had to postpone to this year. And you know what happened to their wedding plans this year. Despite these frustrating setbacks they decided to get married this year anyway and start their life together.

They got married at their church in Boston with only their closest family and friends in attendance. They wrote their own vows which were deeply moving and highlighted what a perfect match they are.

After their ceremony, they had a quick cake cutting outside complete with a sparkling cider toast and individually wrapped cupcakes for guests. Next we headed to the Arnold Arboretum for sunset couples portraits.

Congratulations Michael and Daniella, I can’t wait until your big party next year so we can celebrate again!

Scituate Lighthouse Engagement Photos | Tyler and Alexis

Tyler and Alexis wanted a coastal look to their engagement photos so we went to Scituate Lighthouse in Scituate, MA to take photos around sunset. It was a hot day and I found a random beach house with good shade that ended up being the perfect coastal cottage backdrop! Tyler and Alexis just got engaged in June, when they look at each other their love and excitement for this next chapter radiates from their smiles.

Tyler proposed to Alexis the day they closed on their first house, combining two emotional events into one! Alexis said as soon as they walked in the front door Tyler dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. Covid delayed her ring but I think getting a new house is just as exciting!

The obligatory 2020 mask photo, coordinating with your outfit is a must!

Sudbury Grist Mill Maternity Photos | Adam and Leane

My friend Becky wanted to surprise her brother Adam and sister in-law Leane with maternity photos for their first baby so she gifted them a session on father’s day! They had their session on July 4th at the Sudbury Grist Mill and despite the heat the were the sweetest most loving couple. I’m so glad I got to document these last moments before baby boy arrives on the scene!

A year ago today I shot Leona’s goodbye session. Her owner had to make the heartbreaking decision to free her from her pain. Leona was so good for her photo session and especially enjoyed the treats! I’m so glad Shannon had time to document her relationship with her spunky mare. Leona was one of a kind!

Sabrina wanted fall family photos in the backyard of their new home in Sudbury and I’m so glad she recommended it! She mentioned that one of the fun things about your first year in a house is seeing how the trees turn throughout the season. I couldn’t agree more, watching my own woods transform into a beautiful display of orange, yellow, and red has been so much fun!

I met Alicia and Doug at the Wayside Inn Grist Milll in Sudbury for their fall family photos. Their two kids were so sweet and this family has the best hair! I also loved the pink and blue color scheme! At the end of their session both kids wanted Doug to toss them in the air, the easiest way to get smiles out of any kid!

One of the highlights of my year is seeing this sweet family! I’ve watched little Z grow from a smiley baby to a confident and bubbly toddler. This year we took their family photos at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. The sun was catching the the foliage and creating the most beautiful light!

I’ve taken family photos for Andrea so many times, this fall we went to the Wayside Inn Grist Mill in Sudbury! The air was crisp, the foliage was in full force, and Andrea expertly coordinated their outfits as she always does.

I love taking photos at the Grist Mill. There are so many different backdrop options and even though it’s a popular spot I can usually find an unobstructed view.

Miss F was a sweetheart and loved being cuddled by her family and her sweet dog Chance. I love the photos where you can see her baby teeth coming in!
