One of the highlights of my year is seeing this sweet family! I’ve watched little Z grow from a smiley baby to a confident and bubbly toddler. This year we took their family photos at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. The sun was catching the the foliage and creating the most beautiful light!

I really wanted some spring lifestyle photos at Wellesley College in the Magnolia blooms and my beautiful friend Maria graciously modeled for me! Her tropical print dress and jean jacket went perfectly with the soft pink flowering trees.

My bestie, Andrea, from High School has always been one of my biggest fans. She’s also one of those dream clients who understands how important family photos are (and she prints them for her walls!) We recently met at Wellesley College to take some fall photos with her adorable son and husband. As always I took some photos of just the two of them. These are secretly my favorite part of family portraits. Once the kids come along it’s rare to get photos of just the two of you and I think they’re so important. I want to give my couples a moment to pause and remember why they fell in love in the first place.

Wellesley Fall Family Photos | Colleen

The Souza family met me at Wellesley College for their fall family photo session last week. The leaves are really starting to turn and the sun provided beautiful back-light through the trees. I loved mom and C’s matching boots! The kids were sweet and snugly and Chloe the dog was a great sport for photos!

The Santo family was impeccably dressed for their family photo session at Wellesley College! All 3 kids did so well and I loved the girls’ matching headbands. Leah’s yellow scarf added the perfect pop of fall color! I found a new spot to shoot where the light shines just right through the trees. There’s nothing I love more than a beautiful back lit image!

Baby O had his one year photos and cake smash at Wellesley College a few weeks ago. He wasn't so sure about the family photo part but once the cake came out he started DANCING in his seat! I've never seen a baby so excited about cake but I can definitely relate to him!

What struck me most about this family is how well Jaclyn and Doug work as a team. I could tell how much they care about each other and I loved seeing their complete joy at everything little O did!

I love how quick and easy mini sessions are for my clients. They're a low stress way to get updated family photos and the kids have fun with it too.

A warm October means we still had beautiful foliage at Wellesley College today for fall photos! The boys were so easy to work with and George the dog made a guest appearance too!

This was my last mini session of the day at Wellesley College and the light was fading fast. I found this spot by the lake where the sun was still coming through and it had gorgeous foliage! I love getting to know a little bit about my families during the session and I found out that both mom and dad are in school! Their son was smart and funny although he thought the dog jumping into the water was more intersting than me! (he's right, it was a cute dog)

I'm getting a little suspicious... all of my clients are drop dead gorgeous with great personalities. I must've done something spectacular in a past life or maybe my chakras are in order because I keep meeting the most amazing people! I recently met this fun little family at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA for a one year photo session. Teddy has piercing baby blue eyes and is really excited about his standing skills. And I will never get tired of shooting in the old stone arches and beautiful architecture.

Lifestyle shoot for Boston blogger, Mayliving, in Wellesley, MA

Back in October I took some photos for fashion blogger Mayara of Mayliving. We spent a few hours at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA and I fell in love with the architecture and beautiful grounds. I've lived near Boston my whole life, I can't believe I've never made it to the college! Now it's one of my favorite shooting and walking sites, it's almost as good as being in Newport (almost). 

I also discovered that I love shooting lifestyle fashion photos and I'm excited to work with a few Boston blogger's this year!
