Amidst the serene landscapes of Holliston, MA, the captivating Broad Hill Lavender Farm played host to a series of delightful mini-sessions. As a Massachusetts photographer, I was so excited to learn about this hidden treasure. The picturesque lavender fields were the perfect backdrop for family mini-sessions.

I’ve been photographing this family for a few years now and I absolutely love little G’s personality. She’s spunky, funny, and is always the star of the show.

Boston Public Garden and Beacon Hill Family Photos | Sara

Sara wanted photos of her family in landmark Boston locations before they moved to Florida! We walked around Beacon Hill and stopped by Louisburg Square. We then made our way down to the Boston Public Garden and took photos with the Make Way for Ducklings ducks. We explored the bridge and took photos amongst the flowers.

In July I took some sunset photos for this wonderful family at Fan Pier Park in the Boston Seaport! The skyline is so beautiful and we had fun walking along the water.

This awesome family is moving away from Boston and wanted some family photos in the Boston Public Garden so their kids would have some memories of the city! We explored the bridge, admired the flowers, and played with the real and bronze ducks!

I met Alicia and Doug at the Wayside Inn Grist Milll in Sudbury for their fall family photos. Their two kids were so sweet and this family has the best hair! I also loved the pink and blue color scheme! At the end of their session both kids wanted Doug to toss them in the air, the easiest way to get smiles out of any kid!

One of the highlights of my year is seeing this sweet family! I’ve watched little Z grow from a smiley baby to a confident and bubbly toddler. This year we took their family photos at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. The sun was catching the the foliage and creating the most beautiful light!

I’ve taken family photos for Andrea so many times, this fall we went to the Wayside Inn Grist Mill in Sudbury! The air was crisp, the foliage was in full force, and Andrea expertly coordinated their outfits as she always does.

I love taking photos at the Grist Mill. There are so many different backdrop options and even though it’s a popular spot I can usually find an unobstructed view.

This wonderful family met me at sunrise at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline for their fall family photo session. We had the park to ourselves in prime photo season and got some amazing shots! Miss F was a sweetheart and loved being cuddled by her family and her sweet dog Chance. I love the photos where you can see her baby teeth coming in!

I had so much fun with this wonderful family at their Sudbury Grist Mill family photo session! The girls were so sweet together and I adored their beautiful yellow dresses from Target! The foliage was peaking and we got a great variety of photos around the mill!

Erin asked if she could bring her cat to her family session and I immediately said yes. He happily walked on a leash through the Arnold Arboretum like he owned the place and posed for photos like he does them every day! Their sweet son T was a happy go lucky guy and we got so many amazing photos!

I’m prepping for my fall photo season this year and I realized I have a few blog posts from my Wellesley College Fall Mini Sessions last year that I haven’t shared! The T family looked like they could be in a Kiel James Patrick ad and the girls were so sweet and loving with their little brother! We lucked out on the foliage and found the most glorious yellow tree on the Wellesley College campus. I can’t wait to shoot more photos sessions at the college this fall, it’s one of my favorite spots!

Franklin Cranberry Bog Family Photos | Andrea

Andrea suggested The Nature Trail and Cranberry Bog in Franklin, MA for Matthew’s two year old photos and I’d say she picked the perfect spot! Matt was mostly interested in the bark mulch and he even shared a few pieces with me! He also has a backhoe toy that he’s obsessed with. It was so cute how he carefully scooped the ground over and over! Towards the end of our session we got some of that glorious back lighting that I love. Thank you so much Andrea and Frank for letting me document your family, I love watching Matt grow up!

Thank you to all my clients/friends for another amazing year! 2018 was the best year yet and it’s all thanks to the wonderful people I got to work with. I’ve rounded up my favorite images from the year, there were lots of Wellesley College photo shoots, a few elopements in Boston, new babies, and photos of my own family!

Darian & Chris were visiting from Georgia and wanted photos on Fan Pier. Darian is a photographer too and she and Chris were so much fun to shoot with.

I shot 2 Boston elopements this year, Boston is the perfect place to elope and I loved exploring the city!

I participated in the 3rd annual free photos for public safety families at Goddard State Park and started my own event here in Framingham! Taking photos of families with their officer in uniform is always a highlight of the year. The families are so sweet and I had a repeat family this year with their new baby!

And then we have fall minis! I loved seeing all my repeat clients and meeting new families. I took the majority of these at Wellesley College, I’m there so often they’re going to charge me tuition :)

I also took lots of family photos! My parents are in the first photo and the rest are my cousins.

My favorite college roommate (on the right) welcomed her son into the world this year!

My bestie, Andrea, from High School has always been one of my biggest fans. She’s also one of those dream clients who understands how important family photos are (and she prints them for her walls!) We recently met at Wellesley College to take some fall photos with her adorable son and husband. As always I took some photos of just the two of them. These are secretly my favorite part of family portraits. Once the kids come along it’s rare to get photos of just the two of you and I think they’re so important. I want to give my couples a moment to pause and remember why they fell in love in the first place.

The Souza family met me at Wellesley College for their fall family photo session last week. The leaves are really starting to turn and the sun provided beautiful back-light through the trees. I loved mom and C’s matching boots! The kids were sweet and snugly and Chloe the dog was a great sport for photos!

I’ve photographed the Schwartz family many times over the past few years and seeing them is always a highlight of the season! It’s been so much fun watching Miss Zoey grow and become a little person. She was the happiest little baby and now she’s a sweet and smiley 2 year old.

Most recently I took photos of them at Wellesley College and tried a new spot. I think I have a new favorite location, the light shined through the trees just right and cast a beautiful glow.
