There’s something special about fall in New England—the crisp air, the crunch of leaves, and golden light that makes everything feel a little more magical. This recent Acton Arboretum family session was all that and more, featuring a fun-loving family, two energetic young boys, and their beautiful husky.

As a Massachusetts family photographer, I love it when sessions feel like a real snapshot of a family’s life, playful, chaotic, full of love, and this one was exactly that.

This lovely family brought their senior dog to their fall family photo session at Acton Arboretum. I loved capturing photos of them and their new baby boy, he had the most adorable outfit!

This beautiful boy is no longer with us but I wanted to make sure he got a permanent spot on the blog.

Last year his mom reached out and wanted to document their love and get some professional photos of her regal old man.

Harkins was perfect for his photos and the bond they shared was so beautiful.

Our connection with our animals is so special, I’m always happy when someone wants to do a photoshoot with their dog!
